Sophia Hadeshian is a multimedia artist fascinated with traces of life and remembrance. Her current work focuses on memories and familial narratives that strive to fill gaps in historical records and confront archival silences.
She is currently an Archives Manager at Magnum Photos New York, a board member of NGO Kooyrigs, and the creative director of Azad Archives.
Sophia holds a master's degree from The City University of New York Graduate Center.
